Posted by my 13 yr old son: so, we were coming back from a trip to bear lake, and we wanted to stop and eat some breakfast none of us had anything to eat in the morning, so we decided to eat here. So, we get in we wait to get seated there was a good amount of people (around 30) in the place we wait around 20 min to get seated. it took around 5 min to get a waiter; the waiter was a nice older lady (around 60s) we had some small talk then she took are drink orders we got them then we ordered food we got all are food the food was pretty good one for the better out of state places I have ate at. The egg combo was very good (especially the bacon) had a good time then left Pros some really good and nice staff good food in and out in an hour inside look amazing seats were nice Cons bathroom was not the best (the boy's toilet had a piece missing) long-Ish wait to get seat not a ton of parking

Stopped here twice and had great experiences both times! Worth the stop if you have time to sit down for a meal. Great people and great service, delicious food and honestly some of my all time favorite beer battered fries!

Diane was our server, she is very pleasant, attentive and knowledgeable. I had the chicken fried steak with scrambled eggs, hash browns and pancake. Food is very good and I highly recommend Jody's Diner... we will be back every chance we get!!!

We always love a good breakfast or Lunch at Jody’s! This is a must stop diner if you are going through Evanston. The staff work hard and the prices while rising with inflation aren’t insane and still reasonable. My husband and I highly recommend!

So we found y'all on Google and it was not a disappointment for sure! Gail was our server and was easily able to give recommendations for a quick breakfast solution for needing eggs and pancakes and toast not on the kids menu that way. The bathroom was clean and it was busy so the table was turned quickly. Friendly coffee was hot and so was all the food. Created a vintage old Americana diner vibe that I seem to long for lately.

Although this is somewhat like cafeteria seating, it's more of a fun atmosphere. Good size portions and great prices. They have a older staff of servers, but service is outstanding. I had the chicken fried chicken with eggs and loved it. Glad we showed up on Monday, as they had a sign showing "closed Tuesday and Wednesday due to staff shortage".

Out on a ride and we wanted to stop for breakfast. We seen this cute little diner off the side of the road, we decided to stop on in and I am glade we did. This place had the BEST breakfast we’ve had in some time. The service was beyond amazing. The staff is so sweet and friendly. We will be back for sure.

Hands down THEE best place I've eaten on ALL my cross country travels. Fabulous women, great environment, and the food deserves a chefs kiss and more. Honestly, to enjoy fresh & delicious food and carry on with another day of driving, feeling full and satisfied, not heavy & bloated was such a great feeling. The type of food, portions, and preparation like a home kitchen Took be back to when my friends grandma made sure we "had a hearty breakfast to start our day right." Oh, the artwork made the environment so fun. You are our new road trip goal location!! Thank You
